Mars Hill Study Center will begin its Friday Nights at Mars Hill, a series of lectures – live or in DVD – and movies, followed by Q&A sessions. We start next Friday, February 13, at 6:00 p.m., with a showing of “Luther,” a 2003 movie starring Joseph Fiennes as Martin Luther.

Other future lecture topics will be Covenant Theology and Last Things.
Last Sunday, in the mission church that meets at Mars Hill Study Center, I preached the first sermon in a series entitled “God and His People In the Wilderness.” This series is based on Numbers, the fourth book in the Old Testament. Join us as we journey with 15th century B. C. Israelites in their adventures – and misadventures – in the wilderness as they march to the Promised Land, even as we also make the pilgrimage to our heavenly city. We meet for worship services and catechism classes at Mars Hill every Sunday at 2:30 P.M.
Due to a request by several students from the Hebrew and Greek classes, Mars Hill will be offering a preaching class on Fridays from 1:30 pm – 3 pm starting on September 12.
Update on Hebrew and Greek classes: Last Friday, September 5, there were a few more new students, so there were about 14 students who attended. All the new students were invited by those who have already attended the two previous meetings.
