Because of ongoing interest in theological classes, we will start a Saturday School of Theology this Saturday, May 12, 2012. We will go through Louis Berkhof’s Systematic Theology, with additional resources from the Three Forms of Unity (Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession, and Canons of Dort), Westminster Standards (Confession and Catechisms), and other readings.

Here are the reading assignments for this session. Remember, for B.A. students, 300 pages are required, and for M.A. students, 600 pages. Any combination of readings to make the required number of pages is acceptable. A one or two-page reflection paper must be submitted for every 100 pages of reading on the last lecture day, April 2.

Through the advocacy of our dear brother David Linden, Bethel United Reformed Church in Calgary, Alberta, Canada has donated a substantial amount toward the acquisition of about 100-120 new and used books for MHSC. To minimize shipping costs, the books will be shipped to California, where they will await people willing to take them as baggage as they travel to Manila.
