New Year’s Eve Prayer and Psalm Service

We will have a Prayer and Psalm Service on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 10 am at RCJ Building to look back to God’s faithfulness in the year about to end and to look forward to his steadfast love in the days, months and years ahead.

What were some of the toughest times in your life last year?

How did God answer your prayers during those times?

What difficult things and decisions are you facing in the coming year(s)?

How can we pray about those things?

“I will sing of the steadfast love of the LORD, forever;
with my mouth I will make known your faithfulness to all generations”
(Psa 89:1).

“So teach us to number our days
that we may get a heart of wisdom.
Return, O LORD! How long?
Have pity on your servants!
Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love,
that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us,
and for as many years as we have seen evil.
Let your work be shown to your servants,
and your glorious power to their children.
Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,
and establish the work of our hands upon us;
yes, establish the work of our hands!” (Psalm 90:12-17)
