Mars Hill Study Center Update

Mars Hill Study CenterMars Hill Study Center will be opened to the public on Thursday, July 31 at 10 am. It will be a low-profile affair. No hoopla, press release or parade. Just a sign in front of the building saying we’re open for “business.” We’ll rely on word-of-mouth, flyers in churches around the area, and prayers.

As you can see, there’s still a bunch of needs, including:

  • Printed resources: Books, journals, magazines, periodicals
  • Multimedia equipment: TV, DVD player, LCD projector, and multimedia resources
  • Computer equipment: Two PCs, laser printer/copier, DSL router
  • Furniture: Two computer tables, bookcase, office table, chairs, whiteboard
  • Appliances: coffee maker, microwave oven, split-type air-conditioner

Although it’s not fully ready yet, what we have right now is a good start. This is already quite a bit of resources that will help local pastors. And we’re very grateful to one of our United Reformed Churches for donating about a hundred books, which include many Bible commentaries and exegetical resources, and which we hope will arrive from the States in about a month.

Please spread the word to your friends who live in the area. College age and beyond are all welcome!

Keep up the good work.  I like it.

Congratulations for this very laudable project. I am sure more people, especially church workers, will be blessed by this.

michael millier says:

I rejoice with you and the angels that this study center is now available! May God see fit to use this place, its people, and its resources to deepen folk’s faith and further the spread of the gospel in this region. I will spread the word about Mars Hill!

Congratulations pastor. It is my prayer that God will use the center to a great extent for the propagation of the reformed faith in the Philippines. Soli deo sit gloria!

Auntie Irma says:

To God be the glory!   Great things He has done….and He will do more great things through His children over there.   We are praying for the Lord’s provision of more books and material needs for the center.   We are praying most of all for His provision of souls hungry for the Word and servants who are eager to learn of the reformed faith and ready to preach the Truth.

Oli says:

The building looks nice Dad, glad it’s finally opening, wish I could be there for it.
